Developed as part of the Full Resolution Studies (FRS) Design Charrette in ARCH 505a at the USC School of
Architecture, this project responds directly to a brief focused on tectonics, material thickness, and 1:1
construction using standard building components. Working in a team of six, we designed, drafted, and built
a non-orthogonal, deconstructed cubicle
integrating benches and workstations. The project abstracts conventional office elements into intersecting
planes and structural assemblies, operating between furniture and architecture, larger than a model yet
fully occupiable. Constructed on site during a three-week design-build charrette, the work demanded close
coordination
between drawing, fabrication, and assembly, resulting in a compact yet spatially varied workspace
prototype.
